Not that he doesn't enjoy Phil's company sometimes, but, it does get a bit boring when you only have talked to the single human who isn't scared of him.

And now that he has Tommy, he has to cash in his favor towards Phil.

Oh well, not that he minds that much.

At least he and Phil would have some bonding time with each other.

Techno went out of the cave, after making sure that the youngling was safe and asleep, he makes his way towards Phil's cabin.

After a few hours later, Tommy opens his eyes.

He tried to move but couldn't, he looked at himself to see that he was wrapped in a blanket.

Tommy didn't even know why the giant would wrap him with a blanket.

But he had no time to wonder, he had to escape.

Sure, the blanket was warm, almost to the point of making him sleep, but he couldn't stay here.

Tommy wants to be a free spirit, but with the giant keeping him here, he won't ever be able to taste freedom again.

He began to unwrap himself from the blanket.

"I might take it, just to keep me warm at night." Tommy thought.

Once he safely unwraps himself from the blanket, he takes it then stands up.

Tommy slowly jogs to the entrance of the giant's room.

He looked around the cave, seemed like the giant was nowhere near.

Tommy then made a run for it to the entrance of the cave, making it outside.

But he didn't stop running.

Tommy kept going, he didn't stop to take a break, he didn't stop when his lungs begged him to, he didn't stop even when his legs were at a point of collapsing.

Tommy finally stopped running when he deemed that he was now far from the cave.

He took his time to catch his breath, Tommy fell to the ground due to his very tired legs.

He was too busy catching his breath that he didn't notice the looming threat.

"Well, well, well, what do we have here?"

Tommy froze, he didn't get enough time to react when a hand grabbed him.

Tommy looked at what grabbed him, and his heart dropped to the bottom of his stomach.

It was a giant naga.

The scales were a poisoning green, it had a porcelain, smiling mask on its face.

"I didn't expect a ssmall human in Techno'ss foresst."

Tommy couldn't get the words out, he felt himself getting squeezed by the naga.

"Well, can't expect much from a ssuch a low life creature like you." It chuckled.

Tommy at this point started to struggle out of the tight grip that he was in.

"Aww, leaving sso ssoon? I'm ssure Techno wouldn't mind me getting a tasste out of you."

Tommy struggled even harder, he tried kicking, scratching, even biting at the naga, but it didn't seem to work.

Tommy felt like accepting his fate once the naga took his mask off, revealing a cruel smile behind it.

As the naga started to move Tommy towards his mouth, he didn't notice nor hear someone getting closer to them.

"Dream, what in the actual hell do you think you're doing with my youngling?" A familiar voice said.

Tommy looked towards the giant who kidnapped him, and the giant looked beyond pissed.

"Techno, what a pleassent ssurprisse, ass I wass coming to vissit you, I found thiss low life and thought that it would be a wonderful ssnack." The naga, who is named Dream said in a positive tone.

"Well that low life is my youngling that you're holding. So if you could kindly get your hands off of him, I won't cause any harm." Techno warned.

Dream, either didn't seem to care or didn't notice the warning, chuckled.

"Techno, jusst think about thiss. Ssince you hate having humanss in your foresst, I could eat it so I can ssatissfy my hunger." Dream offered.

Techno took a second to think.

"How about no?" The giant challenged the naga.

"Well, your losss." The naga said before putting Tommy closer to his mouth.

Tommy panicked, before he was put in the naga's mouth, he was being launched out of the hand that was holding him.

Before Tommy hit the ground, another hand grabbed him.

Tommy didn't have time to process anything before he was put inside a mouth.

The mouth closed before Tommy even had the chance of getting out.

The tongue then began to attack him.

Tommy tried to fight back, but in the end, he lost.

He had saliva all over him.

The tongue then began to push Tommy to the throat.

Tommy began to panic again, he tried to fight against the tongue but it was too late.

He was pushed to the throat, he could hear the naga or giant who ate him gulp.

On his way down, it was tight, he could hear the heartbeat, the breathing.

Once Tommy made it to the stomach, he knew that it was the end of him.

Tears began to fall down his face.

He began to cry out, he just wanted to be free, is that too much to ask?

Tommy couldn't hear the soft purr that was trying to calm him down.

He curled up on himself, he knew he was never going to see the sun again.

Tommy passed out.

Tommy didn't expect to wake up.

He didn't expect to be alive.

But here he was, alive and well.

He looked around, he was right back to square one.

Tommy heard giant footsteps coming towards to room he was in.

Before he could hide, Techno came in.

"Oh, you're awake."

Tommy backed away.

"Hey, it's okay, I won't harm you."

"Why am I back here?" Tommy demanded.

"Well, I couldn't just leave you hanging with Dream, so I had to send you somewhere safe and so you won't be hurt from me fighting Dream."

Tommy remembered, he remembered that he was eaten by one of them, but by the way that Techno says it, Tommy was eaten by him.

"How am I not dead?"

"Well, us giants have a safe storage where we can put stuff in there without any of the digestion stuff."

Tommy took a second to process this information.

"But, why didn't you just took me to where there's other humans?"

"Well, it seemed like you were running from something, when I first saw you. Another reason is that my instincts adopted you."

Tommy snorted, he didn't expect for the giant's instinct to suddenly adopt him.

"So then, why didn't you just ignore or deny them?"

Techno then gave Tommy a deadpan stare.

"Who do you take me for? Plus, I'm not the type of person to deny my instincts."

Tommy chuckled, then it went quiet.

The silence was interrupted by Tommy saying, "Thank you, for saving me from the naga."

"No problem youngling, just happy that you're here and safe."

Tommy smiled.

"Is there anything to eat?"

"Yeah, while you were asleep, I went out to collect some fish for you to eat. You can eat now if you like."

"Yeah, that would be nice."

Techno reached his hand out towards Tommy.

"And if you didn't notice, my name's Technoblade youngling, but call me Techno."

"Your full name sounds so pretentious, but, nice to meet you m8."

Techno smirked as he began to walk.

"Welcome home, youngling."

100% agree, basically every team/race engineer has their own version of "we are looking/checking" or "I'll get back to you," Red Bull included. So this idea that it's only Xavi who says that or that somehow when he says it it's mockable bc haha funny accent/intonation or haha perceived incompetence... again, it's just low hanging fruit and I place a lot of blame for that on the cherry picking regarding what radios make it onto the main feed, aka what sticks in people's brains (not everyone's got Charles's onboard on where there's a bit more context behind those messages, for example) and what ultimately shapes narratives like Xavi somehow being responsible for tyre selection and strategy, Charles not communicating properly with his side of the garage over radio/not being assertive enough, and of course strategy genius Carlos. 🙃

Also agree that it's kind of questionable given they're not friends and don't even work together. Charles or anyone else imitating an employee from some other team without a degree of familiarity would similarly not be a great look. I remember when people on Twitch spammed him with messages and links begging him to watch and react to meme compilations on a livestream, and how he could laugh at himself (even though half the jokes went over his head) but was uncomfortable and eventually skipped the bits poking fun at Seb, for example. I know they probably didn't see any harm in it (I think Max also refers to the inchident joke a fair bit too, which tbh imo is beating a dead horse by now, with fans making signs and t-shirts and wanting Charles to sign it and stuff, but whatever, at least that included him directly) but the Xavi situation is already pretty...delicate, I would say, with the amount of targeted hate and, shockingly, even death threats he gets as a non-public figure. Like, his job puts him in the spotlight, but he doesn't have public social media and he doesn't engage with people online, hell, he barely ever gives interviews or speaks outside of radio communication with Charles. Yet he keeps being brought up and the stuff that's being said about him is seriously out of line a lot of the time.

Like yeah, maybe it was silly and not really coming from a bad place, just kind of mindlessly parroting (stale) memes, it's not the end of the world, whatever. But still (see above.)

Also lmao at the third anon, so true 😤 Of course I want to see Charles in a competitive car and for the team to get it together and to see them racing at the front and winning - not for Max's sake, lest he get bored, but for Charles's own. I get it, they had some cool moments racing against each other, and I was gearing myself up for and excited about what was shaping up to be a fight for the championship between them last year. By the time the pair of criminals had reached the donut store, Villain's face had turned beet red. Though, they could at least blame it on the cold winter air.

Other Villain kept looking at them with that stupid smirk, not even slightly relenting as the two of them went up to the counter. The villain tried to remain calm, but as they came face to face with their crush, their heart went crazy inside their chest.

"Oh! Hi, Villain's Name!" - the person behind the counter said in that sweet voice that had Villain's knees wobbling.

"H-Hi, Civilian." - the villain replied, giving them a smile and tiny wave. "H-How are you doing?"

"I've had better workdays." - the civilian answered with a laugh and dismissive flick of their hand. "But I also had worse ones, so I'm doing pretty good in summary!"

"T-That's uh- good to hear."

Civilian continued to smile, leaning against the counter. "So, what can I do you for?"

"Uh... What do y-you wanna get, O.V.'s Name?" - Villain asked the other criminal, turning toward them.

Other Villain wanted to burst out laughing at the other's flustered state but kept their cool. "I'll take five chocolate-covered, please. And you?"

"I uh... I'll take pink sprink. A-Also five uh- please." - the villain stuttered out, secretly giving the other villain a small glare when their crush wasn't looking.

"Pink sprink, eh? Good choice, Vivi!" - Civilian said, grabbing a small box and starting to fill it with the two's desired donuts.

The other villain couldn't help the snort that escaped them as they whispered in amusement at the nickname, "Vivi?"

Villain's blush somehow managed to grow as they whispered back in an embarrassed-angry tone, "Oh, hush you-."

"Here you go!" - the civilian said, setting the box on the counter.

The villain was quick to give them the conveniently perfect amount of money. They definitely hadn't memorized the entire menu like some weirdo with too much time. Nope. Definitely not.

"Enjoy the donuts!"

"Y-Yeah, thank you." - Villain stammered out before the two criminals retreated out of the store.

As the pair walked back home, the villain was prepared for the other to start pocking jokes at them. But surprisingly, the entire way back, Other Villain remained quiet, with only a small grin on their face to give away what they might be thinking.

It gave Villain a foolish hope which instantly shattered as the door to their shared house closed, and the other villain doubled over, cackling.

"VIVI?! PFFT- HAHA!"

"S-Shut up!" - the villain demanded, stomping their foot as their partner in crime continued to laugh.

Villain's face burned as they set the box of goodies on the kitchen table, grumbling under their breath and doing their best to ignore the other. They frowned as Other Villain used the wall as support so they wouldn't fall to the floor, slowly calming down.

"Are you done yet?" - the villain asked, glaring.

Through occasional giggles, the other villain managed to reply. "Y-Yeah."

Villain rolled their eyes, turning back towards the box. As they opened it, and the sugary scent infiltrated their nostrils, their expression softened, a smile dancing on their lips.

They grabbed one of the pink donuts and bit into it, humming contently at the taste. Today was a good day.

But tomorrow was a yet unknown to them nightmare.

I still can’t believe the leaked info on google “Kate and Toby break up and Kevin’s business flourishes” and you’re telling me that everything was set to go and Sophie was for sure going to happen at the beginning of Season 6? Mind you, anon, this synopsis was released before episode 11's synopsis was even released and knowing that episode titles and synopses are usually written and sent off for release first, it goes to show that THIS was their original plan before they suddenly changed tact when AB's schedule opened up.

Like, this synopsis coincides so well with everything they've ACTUALLY built up over the season.

Rebecca telling the big three that she's losing her memory and her clinging into the little things in life could show a montage of her trying her making the best of the every day, IN THE PRESENT with her children.

Randall going deeper into the search of his origins can be him unpacking the whys and the hows of him getting into politics in the first place.

Kate and Toby breaking up - we all know that.

KEVIN'S BUSINESS FLOURISHES. Now this one takes the cake. It's pretty much Jerry Maguire TO A T, isn't anon? Apart from the fact that we were so close to seeing Kevin actually doing work with Big Three Homes lol

Kevin's business flourishing is the same as when Jerry's own business flourished too at the end of the movie where, you know, he realised that HE WAS INCOMPLETE without his Dorothy, which means we would've seen Kevin realise this too but with Madison.

And all of this would've coincided with Justin's "next level" romance he promised because I'm sure that once Kevin realises that he's in love with Madison all along, he would've gone to great lengths– next level romantic to win her back. S I G H

Oh, these writers. Trying to gaslight us into thinking otherwise...

Also them not doing a chemistry LMFAO when I read that I literally LAUGHED OUT LOUD like NO WONDER they give us nothing whenever they're together. Whatever it is that people see, I'm actually so genuinely curious because I SEE NOTHING. Also this is a testament to Justin and Cait because they actually do give us something and I'm sure they didn't do a chemistry read either.

I won’t do a full review of the show today - I’ll wait until after the Special and post it along with my Complete Analysis for LeoFiat. (Speaking of - apparently the special’s trailer releases on Oct 29th per MeMindy official Twitter. And the Special releases on Nov 6 [at least this is the date from the guide I’ve been seeing I haven’t seen it posted on MeMindy’s page yet but I could’ve missed it]. So we’re not done yet 😘

Anyway, the episode….

To be frank I was disappointed. I won’t say it was writing per say but production for this episode was very much a mess. The camera work was…questionable. It’s like they ran out of story and so to meet run time they lingered on shots for absolutely no reason. And then the set up for the s€x scene really or ratted me because it was the last s€x scene of the season so I def had expectations. The repeated banging of the painting…and I swear that thing moved or switched sides 😒. But the camera work here wasn’t working for me either.

😌 Fiat was carrying in that red suit tho…

So my issues with writing. When Fiat said he didn’t know who Leo would choose I tell “Lord make it make sense 🙃” Leo who cannot separate love and sex, Leo who had NEVER looked at anyone other than Fiat…we’re supposed to believe that Fiat just found a deep well of insecurity for the same girl he’s been reminding that she wish she was him all season?! Mame make it make sense babe 😪 Now I know I should consider the context of the show, that Fiat is having insecurities because of Leo’s outburst but it’s just not believable even in the set up of that context. Now if he had just left it at I didn’t know if you would choose to follow me…instead of making it sound like there was an actual choice to be made between him and Punn…then yes I would’ve been on board but instead I was punching air cause it was perfect until then.

My other issue with the writing itself was the dialogue about possessiveness - let me make this clear I have never been or will never be one of those ppl who fight for censorship in art. You will never see me say - This show/series/film/book is good because it has a ‘healthy’ relationship. Great writing can embrace all types of tropes - be it ‘toxic’ or ‘healthy’ and I’m more concerned with good writing than so called healthy storylines. I don’t need art t think for me. I believe in pushing critical thinking rather than the concept that art creates bad ppl - bad ppl engage with art, not the other way around. This is my opinion and I’m stating it so there is no confusion to what I’m about to say next - Mame should not have included this specific dialogue. Not because it was toxic - like I said I don’t care about that, in fact I enjoy possessive pairings/tropes when it comes to stories as they can be quite interesting dynamics and can make for a tension filled read. I’d even say a huge part of the reason I like Leo and fiat is because that concept always played in the subtext or casually within the text it self - I speak about this in my analysis of the two but the whole aspect of Fiat sleeping around to spite Leo is literally speaking to this concept. The reason it’s spite, the reason it’s supposed to get a reaction, the reason he later reproached Leo about this is because he was giving away what was Leo’s & Leo was showing that he cared or was affected. This made him angry and in TharnType2 we constantly see him throwing out taunts & challenges over it. The minute she added this dialogue in I could help but sigh because I feel like she could’ve gotten away with it but the moment that dialogue slipped I knew people were gonna be upset. The same people who had been calling the show healthy despite this concept of ownership already being branded in the text itself. Leo telling Fiat that he’s always been ‘his’. Fiat telling Leo that he could do anything he pleases to his body. This isn’t just sexy talk. This is Fiat once again dialing into the concept that his body, his entire being, belongs to Leo and therefore he gives Leo the right to any & everything he wants to it.

The reason I didn’t like the scene with the talk about Leo’s possessiveness is because they’d already cast a bad light on the mom for overt possessiveness and then here we have Leo saying that he’s a monster and he wants to lock Fiat away, they make a literal comparison between Leo & Fiats mom and they never contextualize it. Even though Fiat says you’ll never hurt me they didn’t really delve into that and they should have because viewers these days are not critical thinkers. They want the text to tell them exactly how to think and how to feel and they pick out one clump of dialogue or action and they state this is toxicity without contextualizing it by taking a look at the overall story. Is Leo possessive? Yes. Does that automatically mean something bad? No. Does that automatically make him like Fiats mom? No. Fiats mom was selfish in her possessiveness, she was abusive in it - physically and mentally. Leo has never once been abusive to Fiat, even asked for permission to be rough in sex play, even when jealous or angry he never actually seeks to lock away or harm Fiat. Most importantly Leo NEVER uses his sense of possessive to isolate Fiat from those he loves and those who loves him. He encourages Fiat to mend his relationships (his Dad, his step mom, and his sister, he even went with him to his Mom & pet Fiat guide the engagement despite her trying to separate him & Leo and despite knowing she always would he still agreed to Fiats right to come alone for following visits and trust him to not let her affect their relationship). He encourages Fiat to really see and appreciate how much others around him truly love him (for example his entire concept for his birthday surprise for Fiat was showing him not only how much he loved and appreciated him but how much all their family and friends did as well). However the moment people feel like they have something to call toxic and pick apart none of that matters any longer. The reputation of the relationship they had built until that moment disappeared for some viewers.

Also I feel like people lose the nuance of how their dynamic works - I’ve already seen ppl say that Leo has control issues and it’s just 😪🙄 eye roll worthy because if you understand their actual relationship you’d understand that yes Leo guides their relationship ship but Fiat has all the real control. The moment he says ‘world stop’ everything stops. The series has shown several times this fact, even the set up that brought us to the finale. Despite all his talk of wanting to lock Fiat away - the reality is that when Fiat stated they should go back to friends Leo never tried to block him in, trap him, stop him, or even challenge him. If it’s not something Fiat wants or something that will make Fiat happy Leo won’t do it, he won’t be it. Because he has always been indulgent to Fiats want & needs (even when it caused himself pain). Even this so called desire to lock fiat away is permission by Fiat. And when they speak of lock away and tie up - it’s another reference to their BDSM relationship. Which is something else they’ve kept subtle but constant in the text. They even show this concept in action by having them talk about how possessive the Red suit makes Leo feel and the result is not banishing Fiat to the dungeon, it’s them not going back to the party and chooses to have sexy alone time again with an addition to Discipline involved (reward / punishment system).

😮‍💨 Ive spent way too much text on this but hey I guess it’s something else to try to explain in my analysis. As far as other sections of the story. The basketball game was lackluster. But I did really love the conversation that they had on the basketball court by themselves.

Like I mentioned in my post about episode 11 - we were really shown how the past affected Leo, his own fears kinda being brought forth and so I was really happy that they had Fiat apologize for the pain he cause Leo during that time. I love the fact that they both understood that they’re not perfect and that perfection may not be achievable but that didn’t invalidate their love for one another and their commitment to giving themselves to that love.

Something I wish would have been delved into was basketball…like why basketball. Why is it the thing important for them to share. I can’t remember it ever being really clarified in the text (it might have in TT2 but 😬 I’m not willing to watch again to find out 😅) but I did want to add this element into my analysis i if anyone else remembers the why being mentioned…let me know please 😊

I have a section in my complete analysis for Leo and Fiat called Surrender where I talk about how their journey has been one of surrendering themselves to one another and to their love completely. In this episode there were a few things that I could touch to speak about in that section so while I may not be happy about the entire episode there were bits that I can touch on and so I’m excited about that as always.

Thank you for the ask and apologies for the v late reply anon, idk if you saw the post I made when you originally sent this but wanted to wait until after wide release before mentioning anything about his screen time. The official answers are that I finally had time to watch last weekend and wasn't surprised but BEYOND disappointed because I love him and he deserves the world :(

(Feel free to stop reading at this point because I'm about to ramble waaaay too much about love of my life Herbsaint Sazerac to the point that this is going behind a read more since there's a whole damn essay coming y'alls way right down to how charming his cute dumb socks are and yes he could leave them on 😔)

SO I'd actually heard about all his scenes / screen time right before the release so going in knowing what to expect helped but even then disappointed's a major understatement :(

Tbh considering the size of the cast and the fact that his roles in Wes movies clearly aren't ever going to be what they were I wasn't expecting more than 10-15 minutes tops but it did feel like a waste of a character with limitless potential, y'know? Not to mention Owen being so prominent in all the trailers and promo...

I guess for me the real letdown was expecting Herb's (hadn't thought of calling him that and LOVE it so thank you again anon 😂) contributions to be scattered more throughout the film rather than basically all at the start and therefore involving a little more interaction outside the newspaper office which was sort of a selfish wish just because Herb's unique, utterly beautiful, and Owen has chemistry working with everyone which is just plain fun to watch ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Maybe I just wanted more Herb scenes to look forward to but the genuine feeling overall was that the film was a fun watch but would've flowed better as a look at a typical, everyday print that happened to have those three stories simultaneously going on around town in between his travel interludes. Keep the opening as is then add in bonus intros to each new plot. Idk, say maybe before part 2 he's meandering around town talking about something lovely but mundane then swerves to avoid some protestors which segues into Revisions to a Manifesto, etc. Eventually the staff gathers and each of them think they've obviously got the lead story except Herb who's cool chilling out in his own world slightly perplexed there was so much going on around town that day or something.

First off: Chaotic Zaibatsu trio ftw. Two rich emo's & one rich goth working together to practically take over the world. It doesn't get any better than that.

Based on what we saw of them in T6, and the likes/dislikes system of TT2, it looks like Nina was sort of the mediator between the three of them. I think she was closer with Jin than Eddy, but good friends with Eddy as well. She was close enough with him to care enough to run in and help him if he got hurt too much in TT2 at least (While not technically canon, given Nina's apathy, that still says a LOT.)

Before she got close to Jin and got to understand him more, her and Eddy absolutely bonded over "why tf is Jin like that?" when boss man wasn't looking. Tbh they probably have so many inside jokes.

Many late work nights chilling with take out in Jin's office.

In game they all only speak their native languages and somehow understand each other, I know, yet somehow the wholesome idea of late night language lessons between the three is still an image that has lived rent free in my head for months now 🙃. Nina again usually acting as the mediator / translator because with how much she travels with her job she likely speaks the most languages out of the three.

I've made this joke before, but seriously how quickly did 6'2" Eddy and 5'11" Jin learn not to help 5'3" Nina reach things?
